A sloped backyard is one of the most common frustrations we hear from homeowners in Bella Vista. You've got the land, you've got the trees, you've got the view - but none of it is actually usable. It's just a hillside you mow around and look at.
That's exactly the kind of yard we love to work with. When a hillside gets the right combination of retaining walls, steps, and a stone patio, it stops being a problem and starts being the best spot on the property. We built out this backyard from the ground up - leveling and carving out a proper space where there really wasn't one before.
The stone fire pit sits at the center of it all, ringed by a flagstone patio with enough room for four chairs and then some. Stone retaining walls step up the grade behind the patio, holding everything in place while giving the space a natural, layered look that fits right into the wooded surroundings. Nothing about it feels forced or out of place.
This is what outdoor living is supposed to feel like. Not a deck you squeeze onto, not a patch of grass you can't do much with - but a spot you actually want to spend time in. Fall evenings with a fire going, good company, cold drinks. That's the whole point.
If your yard feels like wasted potential, we'd be glad to take a look and talk through what's possible. A hillside doesn't have to stay that way.
